Connect Care was formed in 1990 when the managing director Christine (Chris) Williams who had worked in Nursing Homes saw the need for the provision of live-in carers in the south west. She believed that ‘happiest is healthiest, happiest is at home’ and sought an alternative to Nursing homes.

Our Staff

Chris although no longer office based is still active within the running of the agency. The Manager is Deborah Matson, Deborah is a trained nurse (RGN 1) with over 20 years experience in both hospitals and nursing homes. Deborah has been working for Connect Care for 12 years and from assessments develops the individual care packages. Our supervisor is Joanne Clark who has many years of hands on care experience; she conducts spot checks on service provision as well as carer supervision, assessments and reviews.

Discuss any Issue at Home or at our Office

Both Deborah and Jo are able to attend any residence on appointment to discuss any issue raised in person should this be required as Connect Care Ltd. understand that some individuals dislike communication over the telephone and find this method easiest.

Reliable Communication

Our head office is now situated in Yate shopping centre which is in the north Bristol area. We have a small office team and unlike other care agencies we do not allocate service users to one specific care co-ordinator which can often make it difficult for an individual to communicate with the desired individual. Our two care co-ordinators Helen Workman and Sally Talbot both have full knowledge of every service user and are both able to assist with any enquiry on home care provision alongside our manager and supervisor.
